Ms. Gill

Ms. Gill is an eclectic, stylish and grounded woman who started working at Lotte’s school in Sunrise Florida when she moved from upstate five years ago. Ms. Tessa Gill loves encouraging young readers and comes from a household of educators in Tallahassee, Florida. Just like Lotte, Ms. Gill is a history buff and deeply believes in the power of finding the right books to motivate young people. For this reason, Ms. Gill spends time reading and adding books to her library’s collection every day. Outside of school Ms. Gill spends time with a budding community of Black educators in grad school. Work plays a large role in her identity and she hopes to become a school principal after she finishes her Master’s program. She attends classes at night part time but finds time to spend time on the beach, coffee shops and local hot spot restaurants with friends whenever she ca
